The Place to Discover and Chat with New Friends

When the mBuzzy brand was acquired by Acotel Interactive it was a mess. In a marketplace with hundreds of competitors, some of whom are household names, an unappealing and confusing app interface doesn't cut it. A total rethink of the visual system, customer acquisition process and retention strategy was called for.

The new interface is spacious with clear action paths, generous affordances and a bold, modern color palette. Now users can easily search and navigate among 7+ million profiles and locating new friends has never been so easy. mBuzzy has been in the Top 100 Grossing Social apps in the U.S. and 45 other countries.

My role

Creative Director, working with the UX/UI design team, product managers and marketing team in New York and development teams in New York and Rome.
